Harold I spent some time enjoying the views from The Niagara Whirlpool & The Devil's Hole. . The Devil's Hole was the location of an early battle between European settlers and Native Americans over control of the portage route.

Niagara Falls- From The USA Side!

After arriving in Niagara Falls. Harold and I, used the Rainbow bridge to gain access to the American Side of Niagara Falls. There are 3 beautiful waterfalls that create the magic and natural beauty. That is the Niagara Falls area! Horseshoe Falls which is biggest and most prestigious waterfall that is located in Canada! The two waterfalls that are located on the U.S. side are; The American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls. We got to enjoy some wonderful time, on this gorgeous Spring day. The Niagara Parkway- Fort Erie to The Falls!

Wednesday of this week was a very good day! A chance to enjoy some quality time, traveling down memory lane! This week I have been enjoying a 1 week of vacation. This day would be the highlight of my staycation!

The day would prove to be a wonderful Spring day that was enjoyed! The 2nd half of the winter of 2018-19 was very tough. Also it seemed like Mother Nature didn't want Spring to occur for us, this year!

However bright sunshine, above normal temperatures and blue skies would help to make this day a special one! I would be enjoying this day with long time friend Harold. We would enjoy a great meal at the Green Acres restaurant located in Fort Erie. Then we would enjoy one of my favorite drives. Located in my native Canada. That I have had the pleasure of enjoying many times! Allowing the Niagara Parkway and the Niagara River to direct a traveler to Niagara Falls. One of the most beautiful places located in Canada! Niagara Falls one of the most accessible, scenic and beautiful waterfalls to enjoy! Located on our beautiful planet Earth!

This drive is highly recommended to start your vacation in the wonderful Niagara area. The views of the Niagara River will help to relax you and get you mind into holiday mode! Also after enjoying time at the Falls! Continue on the Niagara Parkway, that will transport you to the scenic and historic town of Niagara On The Lake. You will have a wonderful time! Enjoying this wonderful part of Canada!
