The Great Path of China

Adjacent to the section of the Great Wall of China. That we got to visit. Located just to the north of Beijing. There is a beautiful path! That I have named "The Great Path of China". I am so thankful that I made the choice to decent down "The Great Path of China". Being a true lover of nature! It was a special way for me to enjoy this day!

Come and enjoy "The Great Path of China".

The Great Wall of China

After our tour in the Northeast part of China. Which included some time spend in Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, and Hangshou. We were now off on the final leg of our China Adventure! We would travel by bullet train from Shanghai to the capital of China. The city of Beijing. After arriving in Bejing. Everyone in our group. Now had the chance to experience visiting one of the most prestigious and famous ancient structures every build on our Planet Earth. The longest feat of human engineering that was built as a military defense for China.

We all enjoyed a very nice visit to this antiquity and historic special part of Chinese History. I have included my photos.

Night Cruise & The Light Show

The following photos and video are great memories of our night boat cruise. Enjoying the sites and sounds of the ultra modern skyline of Shanghai. What a positive memory for of all of us. In our tour group!

Old Town Shanghai

Next we had a look around the old part of Shanghai that still exists. Most of the city of Shanghai has been redeveloped and modernized. The architecture and design of the buildings and structures are both futuristic and impressive. The old neighborhood in downtown Shanghai clings to life. We had a chance to shop and look around. In a mix of shopping venues and restaurants. No bargains were found by me. I was more looking forward to the night cruise on the river. Which was worth waiting for. That will be my next post.

I have included some photos of the old shopping area. Located in the old part of Shanghai.

The French Concession Area

A great part of Shanghai is the "French Concession Area". This attractive area of Shanghai was in control of France from 1849 until 1943. Even after lots of redevelopment. The French Concession remains one of the most attractive areas to live and enjoy in Shanghai. There are lots of European restaurants to enjoy. Some of us in our tour group enjoyed the food at the Wolfgang Puck restaurant. Steven and I enjoyed delicious burgers at this quality eatery!

I have provided some photos of the happy time spent in the French Concession Area.
