Looking at downtown Mississauga from Pearson Airport.
We have survived the long flight! Arriving in the city of Shanghai China. For most of us on this trip. We are in a state of disbelief that we are here. Flying in the modern jet aircraft's of today. Has truly made our Planet Earth. Seem like a much smaller place!
We met our guide for the Shanghai portion of our trip. He was there to meet us at the airport. His name is John Tang. John quickly organized us, and got us onto the bus. To get us to our hotel. To try and recover from the long flight. giving us the chance to get over the jet lag. As we have traveled though many time zones to arrive in China. Their a 12 hour difference in time.The first hotel on this holiday is the "Royal Hotel".
I have included a photo from waiting at Pearson Airport. Waiting for the long flight that awaited. Also from our first excursion on this Trip. Looking at the famous "Bund" the historic river area located in downtown Shanghai.
