Woodstock Vermont!

Today was my first day of my Vermont 2015 expedience. It was day to try and unwind, relax and detox! My travels today took me to the picturesque town of Woodstock Vermont. Voted one of the most historic and most beautiful towns located in the U.S.A. I had the pleasure to walk around the town today. It was perfect time to enjoy Woodstock. It was very quiet an peaceful, just like the rest of Vermont.

I included the pictorial that I shot of Woodstock today. Woodstock has an almost identical sister in Canada. The town of Niagara on the Lake. Is also a beautiful place to visit. Full of restored and well persevered historic homes and buildings. Both places are real treasures!

Heads Carolina, Tails The Green Mountains

Yesterday I enjoyed the pleasure of leaving the City of Toronto. For yet another 1 week escaping the real world. In the relaxed and very green "State of Vermont".

I have included a few pictures I took. Stuck in a traffic jam. Located on express (eastbound) lanes of the 401. Nobody is ever going to convince me that living in an overcrowded area is a good or healthy standard of living life. Also I have added a few photos taken on my arrival in the Green Mountains!

I dedicate this trip to the song "Heads Carolina, Tails California. Sung wonderfully by singer Jo Dee Messina. This great tune brings to life very quickly the joy of getting away from a poor standard of living. And getting the chance to visit a place that is both warmer and greener!!! Thank you very much Jo Dee!!!

O.K. Blue Jays "Let's Play Ball"

My brother John and I missed out at attending the baseball game played in Buffalo yesterday. However we were in attendance the Toronto Blue Jays big win today at the "Skydome". I refuse to call this sporting venue by it's official corporate name. So we will leave it at that.

I have not attended a Blue Jays game at Skydome in many years. The baseball experience today was enjoyed! John and I were seated in the 200 level in home-run alley in left field. The home run Albert Pujols hit in the 4th inning went streaking just a few rows over where John and I were seated. The viewpoint for watching the game was very good. I did take lots of pictures using the Fujifilm camera that I had purchased from Al's sister Shelley. The results for the pictures were quite good. I have posted the best of the photos I shot today for other fans of the game of baseball to enjoy!

My only really complaint with the baseball experience at the Skydome today. Was the cost of the concessions is completely outrageous! $18.95 for a hotdog, soft-drink and a bag of chips is just way to much to charge a paying customer trying to enjoy themselves at the ballpark $10.95 for a can of beer and $5 for a .10 bottle of water is just going to stop people from supporting this great sport. There will come a point in time when the fans will just be forced to say "no way". "That is just too much to pay!

The Blue Jays did win the game in a very good display of hitting! The final score "Blue Jays 10 and the Angels of Anaheim 6. The back-catcher of the Blue Jays Russell Martin was the star player of the game. I have included the box scores and my pictures of the Blue Jays victory today!

The Mighty "Niagara River"

Today was another opportunity to enjoy the beauty of one of the most scenic drives in Canada. My brother John completed the 58 KM or 36 Mile drive following the Niagara River from Fort Erie, Ontario, to the town of "Niagara on the Lake".

It proved to be a beautiful day to enjoy it. I have included some photos from this truly Canadian Experience!
