Historic Fort Taylor

After the swim was enjoyed. Alan and I completed a interesting walking tour of Historic Fort Taylor. A lot of history here. This fort construction began in 1950. Fort Taylor was completed in 1866 and was decommissioned in 1947.

    Love those old forts. Didn't know about this one, where was it? In KW?

    Yes it is located in Key West. Not very far from Mallory Square and where the cruise boats come into port. Also it is right beside the best beach in Key West to get wet!
