The Everglades

After breakfast this morning. I went to pay "Everglades National Park" a visit. It is a short drive from the hostel I am staying at. Something that should not be missed. While visiting south Florida. The Everglades is one of the more interesting and unique ecosystems in the world. It would of been a mistake to not pay the park a visit.

After arriving at the main visitor center. I then headed the Royal Palm Nature Center. Where you pick up the Anhinga Trail. I was on a guided tour by one of the park rangers. The weather was very good. The tour was interesting so say the least. You could spend months in the Everglades National Park and not see everything.

There was some minor concern on arrival. To the Royal Palm Nature Center. As we were advised to cover our cars with provided tarps. As the vultures could attack the cars doing damage to windshield wipers or rubber molding on the windows. No problem thankfully did occur.
