Remembering

This next post has to be of a serious nature. Because I went to visit "Arlington National Cemetery" today. Lots of famous and brave Americans are laid to rest in this place that is a shrine to the United States. But no matter what you nationality or religious background. This place does matter a lot!!!

Two of the most influential men in modern political history are buried here. The two men are John F. Kennedy and his younger brother Robert Kennedy. Both men had a dream and a vision. To try and change the world for the better. There dream was to try and unite the world. To put a final end to world conflict. So all the people of the world could work together to give peoples of all different nationalities. A chance to live an enjoyable and productive life.

John F. Kennedy was assassinated on December 22, 1963.
Robert Kennedy was assassinated on June 6, 1968.

I did visit there graves today. It did move me. Why did they have to die? Would the world be a fairer, better and more stable place? These are questions that will never be answered. That is for sure.

Also I would like to remember to more great political leaders of our time. I would like to remember Anwar El Sadat. Mr El Sadat was active president of Egypt, when he was killed by fundamentalists in his armed forces on October 6th 1981.

Yizhak Rabin was the Prime Minister of Israel. When he was also murdered by Yisgal Amir on November the 4th, 1995. Mr. Amir was a right wing Israeli who opposed any lasting peace with the Palestinians.

The disappointing part for me in this story is. That our world may never see world leaders with the vision and resolve. That these 4 men possessed. I believe that our world is much worst off without them.
