During all of my trips to enjoy Vermont. There has several trends and opinions that have come from the "Travel Wolfe". My two favorite two coments are; that Vermont is not really a U.S. State. But in reality it is a "State of Mind". My other favorite opinion is. That Vermont exists as a small and beautiful mountainous European Country that is lost here in North America.
One of the key elements of proof exists in the only real city of any size located in Vermont. Which is the beautiful city of Burlington. For there located in downtown Burlington is the "Church Street Marketplace". Which was designed by architect Bill Truex and opened in 1981. Bill Truex designed this delightful area after visiting the pedestrian only shopping district located in Copenhagen, Denmark.
I have included my photos of walking through Burlington today. Enjoying what you would normally find only walking through a classic and historic European city. Great job Bill Truex!
