After the first part of driving the "Million Dollar Highway". It was time to relax and enjoy the historical qualities of now having arrived in the town of Silverton, Colorado.
I enjoyed a nice buffet lunch. At what use to be one of the popular bordello's in town.I then went on a walk around Silverton enjoying the fantasy that I now have been transported back into the 1890's. This fantasy became more realistic when I heard the sound of the air whistle of the Steam Locomotive that had just arrived in Silverton from Durango! Getting to enjoy the feeling of being transported back to the Wild West days was great! Enjoy the photos.
