Isn't It Great?

After Michael and I visited the Sankaty Head Lighthouse. We were both planing and hoping to visit the Great Point Lighthouse.

However this was going to be a challenge as we had to ride our bikes. As close as we could. Before hiking the rest of the distance. To get to visit the Great Point Lighthouse. As this historic Lighthouse . Is not very assessable. We were still looking at a 3 mile hike. After we rode our bikes to the beach.

To our disappointment. We could not ride our bikes out to the beach. As the access road is located on private property. So Michael and I had to park our bikes at a security gate. Then we had to hike 2 miles to get to the beach. Looking at another 3 miles to get see the Great Point Lighthouse.

After reaching the beach and enjoying lunch. We just were content to hang out on the beach. To enjoy a truly fantastic place to be. It was just great! To be there!!!
