After breakfast this morning. The weather seemed ideal for some hiking and some exploring in Taorminia. So I hiked down to the beach. In the pictures you will see a small island named "Isola Bella". This island is now a nature preserve. There is a small sandbar that leads to the Isola Bella. However I did not cross to the island. But did spend some relaxing time on the beach.The town of Taorminia is located several hundred feet above the beaches. So hiking to the beach included going down some steep roads and several stair cases to reach the sea. I have included the photos from this experience. I took the cable car located in Taorminia to back to the top of the town.
