Dutch Resistence! 1940-1945 "Verzetsmuseum""

From May 14, 1940. The Netherlands was invaded and occupied by Nazi Germany during World War 2. Located at Plantage Kerklaan 61A, 1018 CX Amsterdam. You will the Verzetsmuseum. This museum is dedicated to the history of the Nazi occupation of The Netherlands. How the Dutch People stood up and protested and fought the brutal and illegal occupation of there country.

This museum is of high quality and is one of the best World War II museums I have visited during my travels to Europe. I have included some photos from my experience. As sad as a lot of the exhibits are in this museum. It is necessary to keep the facts and atrocities alive that occurred in World War II. To keep alive the memories of the people who suffered and died because of war.

The is an actual letter that was written my a Dutch Jewish person. Who had been sent to a concentration camp. The people on the death camp trains. Often wrote letters of hope, and threw them off the train. Hoping they would be found and mailed.
